Bridging the Gap

It was a sellout crowd as Triware, along with Cisco and Tech Data, hosted a private screening of The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1 at the Scotiabank Theatre on Wednesday November 26th.

The event was organized in aid of Connected North – an initiative fueled by Cisco and focused on delivering immersive and interactive education and healthcare services to remote northern communities through high-definition two-way video and collaboration technologies.

“Transforming lives through technology is the core of Connected North” said Wally O’Neill, VP of Triware, “a philosophy that is true to the heart of Triware and our clients: using technology to solve problems and improve quality of life; whether at home or business.”

Over 190 clients and friends of Triware donated $3,800 to the Connected North initiative, with these funds helping build a new model for the sustainable delivery of remote education and healthcare services that will be applied to under-served communities across Canada.
